The health department of Pauri has administered 11,67,063 doses of the Covid vaccine till September 27. The District Immunization officer of Pauri, Dr Ramesh Kunwar said that the figure includes 5,27,288 first doses, 5,04,403 second doses but only 1,35,372 precautionary ( booster) doses . Dr Kunwar said that 135372 precautionary doses have been administered free of cost under the Amrit Mahotsav on the instruction of the Union government to the people of age group from 18 years to 59 years from July 15 till date. Only two days have left for free precautionary doze. He appealed to the people of the district to take benefit of the free precautionary doze. After this a sum of Rs 400 would be charged for the precautionary vaccination.
