The Chhattisgarh government on Friday gave an additional charge to an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer here.
The 1992 batch officer, Arun Dev Gautam, has been given additional responsibility as Director, Public Prosecution.
He is already Secretary, Jail and Home (on state deputation) and also Additional Director General of Police, Home Guard and Civil Defense, the order said.
