The criminal killed during robbery at Muthoot Fincorp in Dhanbad on Tuesday has been identified as Shubham Singh( 21)alias Robert alias Rabbit resident of Bhuli township son of Vishwajit Singh.
Police on Wednesday handed over the body to his family after an autopsy that was conducted at SNMCH.
However, his family members who on Tuesday denied taking his body received it today amidst allegation that the victim was deliberately killed by police . The allegations were levelled outside the postmortem house before the media.
Family members using the victim's mother and two younger sisters alleged that police deliberately delayed shifting Shubham to hospital and let him die.
The victim's mother said ," I would cremate my son. He may be wrong about why the other two accused too were given the same treatment."
Meanwhile, SSP Sanjeev Kumar said," interrogation of two arrested accused is on.
We are also in contact with police of different states including West Bengal and Rajasthan where criminals had targeted the aforementioned finance company in almost similar fashion ".
SSP refused to comment on select media reports regarding the link of the gang.
Police are working on inputs and soon would crack the case thus it would be too early to comment, he said .
