Modi govt planning to end reservation in jobs: Baghel

Thursday, 23 June 2022 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

The Modi government is playing with the future of the youth, and it is the BJP's long-term game plan to end reservation in jobs in the country, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Wednesday.

He was addressing a gathering at the Congress party headquarters in the heart of the national capital which also attended by Congress MLAs and MPs including Rahul Gandhi besides Priyanka Gandhi.

Baghel said the future of the youth was being put in danger by the Modi           government. The youth are monitoring the                  developments taking place after the launch of the Agniveer scheme, he said.

After four years, the Central government wants to push the retired youths to lower cadre jobs like peons in offices.

Baghel said the Centre was scared of the Congress. Its workers were being       prevented from even going to party offices.

The real threat to the BJP is only from the Congress and Rahul Gandhi, he said. This is the only reason the Centre wants to suppress his voice.

He said the Congress and the people of Chhattisgarh stand with Rahul Gandhi.
