Amid the rising Covid-19 cases over the last few weeks, Chandigarh on Friday recorded 126 cases. The Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator UT BanwariLal Purohit also tested positive for Covid-19. According to officials, the Governor, however, is not showing any serious symptoms and is recuperating at his official residence. “All those who have come in contact with him should please isolate and get themselves tested, '' said the official. With 126 fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday, the total number of cases in the city has risen to 97,135. While there was no fresh fatality, 148 patients recovered from the disease. The total number of active cases in the city is 879.
