The first meeting of Zilla Parishad for the financial year 2022-23 was conducted here under the chairmanship of ZP President Tulabati Minj.

Zilla Parishad Members and departmental officers participated.
A discussion was held about the target achieved on various schemes in current financial year 2022-23 upto June. The schemes reviewed included
MGNREGS, Jibika Mission, Agriculture, Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, water supply and sanitation arrangements, National Health Mission, National Food Safety and State Food Safety schemes, Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana and PMAS etc, apart from works taken up in horticulture, water management and soil conservation, agriculture sectors and pipe water supply.
Stress was given on effective implementation of different schemes within scheduled time limit. At the end, vote of thanks was given by the panchayat officer.
Later, a meeting of District Welfare Coordination and Supervisory Committee was held under the chairmanship of MP Suresh Pujari.
