State's power lifter Shailendra won gold and Tushar won silver medal in Asian Power Lifting Competition.
In the Senior Asian Powerlifting Competition held in Coimbatore from June 17 to 21, 2022, Bhopal's power lifter Shailendra Sevatia performed brilliantly to give gold and Tushar Kadam silver medal to the country.
Both the players are practicing at Mantralaya Sports Club Bhopal. Expressing happiness on this achievement achieved by Shelendra Sevatia and Tushar Kadam, all the members of Mantralaya Sports Club, office bearers of sports associations and sports lovers have congratulated and congratulated both the players.
Performing brilliantly in the 74 kg weight category of the competition, Shailendra Sevatia won 280 kg in Scod event, 185 in bench press and 275 in deadlift, thus lifting a total of 740 kg to give gold medal to the country.
In the 66 kg weight category of the competition, Bhopal's power lifter Tushar Kadam won 240 kg in Scod, 155 kg in Bench Press and 230 kg in Deadskit event. Gram. Thus lifting a total weight of 625 kg and giving the country a silver medal.
