The vice chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University, Mukul Naryan Deo, has been clearing more than 100 files (on an average) every day. He is signing more than two hundred certificates and degrees every day, along with holding marathon meetings under his chairmanship.

The VC told the Pioneer, “I have given the instruction to all the department heads to dispose of files every day and forward them to the next table. The departments are following the instructions of the VC office and disposing of the files. At the end of month the maximum files are based on the finance nature, because in the last week of every month files related to monthly salary and amount transferred to the retired teachers also.”

He further said that due to the surgery of financial advisor SK Singh, some important decisions related to the finance are pending. The financial adviser will resume his office very soon then some financial advisory work will be done.

The VC said that the backbone of the university is the examination department so they are trying to solve every problem on war footage. Examination schedules and notices are released regularly. This is the reason the students of the university are not facing any problem.

He said that they have computerised the data related to the finance department. “We will finish the same work in the examination department, after that there will be no need to come to the university office for demanding certificates and degrees,” he added.

The VC said that they are trying to make the university fully computerised and are following all the instructions of the chancellor office.
