The liquor smuggling is going on in large scale in indore district and adjoining districts and the excise flying squad is not paying any attention to track and trap the smugglers who are frequently involved in liquor smuggling on four wheelers and two wheelers round the clock.
The Kishanganj police of Indore district caught the Mahendra Bolero pick up truck MP09 GH 0148 on the midnight of Tuesday at Chopati in Banjari village area and seized 105 boxes of foreign liquor total of around one thousand litres worth value rs ten lakh. Sources said during the former DCE flying squad Indore Sanjay Tiwari the smugglers were underground but as the new DCE Mukesh Nema has taken charge of Indore flying squad the smugglers are again active in indore district and adjoining district. DCE Indore division flying squad Mukesh Nema told The Pioneer that I will instruct my subordinate officers to trap the smugglers.
