22-year-old Shahdol girl gang-raped in Bhopal

A case of gang rape of a 22-year-old girl who came from Shahdol to Bhopal has come to light; Mangalwara police have registered a case and started search for the accused.

Two accused tricked the girl into getting a job at the railway station. They took him to a house near the station, raped her while another accused molested her. Later when the girl escaped from the clutches of the accused, she sought help from two policemen.

The incident occured on  January 12.  The policemen sent the girl to Shahdol by giving Rs 500. On reaching there, he narrated the whole incident to his parents.

After this, the family lodged an FIR on January 19. For further investigation, Sidhi police station sent the case diary to Mangalwara police station in Bhopal. At present, the accused could not be identified. At the same time, the policemen have also not been identified. Bhopal police is probing the matter.

The victim was acquainted with Krishna who informed that he used to talk to him. On January 10, 2023, he told to come to Bhopal for a job where she will get work in a factory.

She reached Bhopal and then called a friend who informed his friend to help and later he came but failed to provide a job and returned. An auto rickshaw driver asked where she wanted to go and she answered Shahdol.

After some time the auto driver came near the tea shop outside Platform-6 with two more boys and took her to a house about where she was raped by the two.

The house owner  also demanded to have sex and after she  refused he  threw her out of the house. On January 12 at 4 pm two policemen came. Both the accused sprinkled something like powder in the eyes of the policemen and fled.

Policemen gave Rs 500 and she somehow managed to reach Maihar with her sister. After this she lodged a complaint and the case was transferred to Bhopal.
