As many as 97 students were provided internships in various technical fields by participating companies in a mega Internship fair organized by the Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research. A total of 27 companies participated in this fair.
PIEMR Director Dr. Manoj Kumar Deshpande and TPO, PIEMR, Prof. Giving information, Saurabh Bhattacharya said that so far a total of 400 third year students of his institute have been provided internship by various companies which is mandatory as per the syllabus of Rajiv Gandhi Technological University.
Dr Deshpandey said that the Internship fair provided opportunities to students to gain real-world experience and practical skills bridging the gap between education and industry. The participating companies in this fair demonstrated their commitment to offering internships in emerging technical fields and technical-management roles, giving talented individuals a chance to showcase their abilities.
The Prestige Engineering Placement Cell team, consisting of 20 student placement coordinators, played a crucial role in making the Internship Fair successful. The AI and Android Training Division Soft Skill, Coding, and Aptitude Training team was also present to understand the current trends and demands in the corporate world and engaged themselves in discussions with HR heads and CEOs/founders of companies.
