Navita Nigam, President, BHEL Ladies Club on Friday inaugurated Vatika Restaurant run by BHEL Ladies Welfare at BHEL, Bhopal. Avinash Chandra, General Manager (HR & Logistics), Harish Kumar Sahu, Commandant, CISF and other General Managers and office bearers of BHEL Ladies Club, representatives of various trade unions and other officers and employees were present on the occasion.
Nigam said on the occasion that under the aegis of Helping Hands run by BHEL, Ladies Club, Vatika Restaurant is known for its quality in the entire Bhopal city. Vatika's counter located at Kasturba Hospital has been providing clean and nutritious food to the patients and their relatives of Kasturba Hospital since 1993. On the one hand, clean and nutritious snacks and food are provided to the common people by this organization, on the other hand, employment is also provided to the socially and economically weak and needy people so that they can lead a dignified life.
Appreciating the initiative of BHEL Ladies Club, Chandra said that the employees, trainees and visitors will be provided tea, coffee and variety of snacks at very reasonable rates in Vatika restaurant. The timings of this center will be from 12 noon to 2 pm and people present inside the factory premises will be able to take advantage of this service.
Manita Chandra, Vice President informed about this effort of Vatika on the occasion and said that providing tasty and healthy food to the people is the main objective of Vatika and this institution will work with dedication for this purpose. Vandana Thakur, Secretary and Manju Shoree were also present with him.
