Chhattisgarh Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat will inaugurate the state level Ramayana troupe competition on May 27 at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur.
Cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of Corporation Boards and Commissions and the Mayor and Chairman of the Municipal Corporation Raipur will be part of the event.
The Ramayana troupe competition is scheduled from 9 am to 7 pm and will continue till May 29, an official communication said on Friday.
On the inaugural day, the competition will be held in Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Balod, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Mungeli, Gariyaband, Balodabazar-Bhatapara and Mahasamund districts.
The competition on the second day (May 28) will be among Bilaspur, Sakti, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Korba, Raigarh, Surajpur, Jashpur, Surguja, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Korea, Balrampur and Dhamtari districts.
On the third day, Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bastar, Dantewada, Sukma and Bijapur districts will be involved.
