The Thalassemia/Hemophilia Day Care Center located at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital, Hazaribag campus was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay on Wednesday.During this, the civil surgeon welcomed the Deputy Commissioner present as the chief guest by giving her a sapling.After that, the center was duly inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner by lighting the lamp.
Addressing the people present on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that this day care center can prove to be a boon for the treatment of people suffering from Thalassemia/Hemophilia of Hazaribag district.Earlier people were suffering from this disease had to go to Ranchi or other places for treatment.As a result of the positive initiative taken in this direction by the Health Department of Hazaribag, related Day Care Center has been established.In the coming days, better treatment facilities will be made available to Thalassemia/Hemophilia patients coming from different areas.
