Mahila Samiti Bokaro organises Grand Annual function

The grand celebration of Mahila Samiti Bokaro's anniversary was organized at the Human Resource Development Center of BSL. Amarendu Prakash, Director In-charge of BSL was the chief guest of the function. Executive Directors of BSL and BSL's Subordinate Collieries Division, Jharkhand Group of Mines and SRU, DIG (CISF) Bokaro S. Rai and Chief General Managers of various departments of the plant, Mahila Samiti President Anita Tiwari and Vice President including Members and other dignitaries were present. The programme was started with the lighting of the lamp by the guests. After this, Chairperson Anita Tiwari welcomed the guests and requested everyone present to take forward this campaign of the Mahila Samiti. Notably committee's secretary Vandana Jha presented a report on various welfare activities of the organization.

 

Many attractive cultural programmes were presented by the members of Mahila Samiti during the function. Ganesh Vandana, Geet Basant Ke Rang Geet Ke Sang, Punjabi Geet Gidda, Classical Holi Geet, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Jharkhandi Geet and short drama Nari Ka Samman and other programmes presented by the members of the Executive Committee won the hearts of the audience. Shweta Kumar and other members organized an entertaining game for the guests, which was enjoyed by all. DIC Prakash in his address appreciated the activities of Mahila Samiti Bokaro and wished them all the best. He expressed confidence that in future also the committee will continue its campaign of social upliftment through its various schemes and activities. During the programme, the souvenir “Maitri” of the Mahila Samiti was also released by the Director-in-charge. The programme was coordinated by Shweta Kumar. In the end, the vote of thanks was given by Rita Rani, Treasurer of the Women's Committee.
