Naxalites have torched a JCB machine and a truck engaged in laying railway track and transporting iron ore works in Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh, police said on Thursday.
A group of Naxalites on March 22-23 night set ablaze the JCB machine near Padhapur village, Dantewada Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari told The Pioneer.
The Maoists opened fire at security forces in the nearby jungles, the officer said.
