NEP most significant reform, says Yogi

Terming the New Education Policy as India’s most significant reform during the Covid-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday. He said the NEP  would serve as the medium for everyone to showcase their worth and utilise their potential to the core.

Speaking at the convocation of Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, he said that the convocation was not the end but it paves the way in the right direction, for an individual to further excel in life.

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has set the best example of Covid-19 management in the world.  In the fight against Covid-19, the whole country came together and followed discipline.  Even the Teerthanker Mahaveer University and Medical College did a fabulous work in saving lives of the people,” the CM said.

“During the COVID-19 period, India became the first country to give free vaccines to the world. India The government not only saved its citizens but also provided shelter and free foodgrains to the people in need,” he pointed out.

Referring to the construction of Ram temple, the revival of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Kedarnath temple, Mahakal Dham, the chief minister said that this was the golden period of India.

Giving best wishes to the students, the CM said that  the meritorious students should utilise their talent to strengthen the image of the state and make the country proud.

During the convocation, CM Yogi honored the meritorious students by presenting them with gold medals, titles, and degrees. A total of 5,988 students of 2020, 2021 and 2022 batches were awarded degrees, with 104 receiving gold medals, 103 silver, and 98 bronze.

Finance and Parliamentary Affairs minister Suresh Khanna and BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary were also present on the occasion.
