Madhya Pradesh in grip of fog once again

After little relief cold conditions prevailed in the state on Tuesday morning as the state woke to foggy and chilling weather conditions. There was dense fog in many cities on Tuesday morning. Visibility reduced to 50 meters in Bhopal, dew was also witnessed in the morning.

Visibility also reduced in Jabalpur and Ujjain. There was western disturbance activity in the state for 3 days. Due to this, there was light rain in many districts of the state including Gwalior-Chambal. The weather remained changed in Gwalior on Monday also. The day temperature reached 20.6 degree Celsius with drizzle.

Meteorologists said that due to the passing of the system, the weather changed again on Tuesday and a mild period of cold returned. There may be a drop of 2 to 3 degree celsius in night temperature across the state.

According to IMD, Bhopal, another Western Disturbance, is becoming active after a few days. Jet streams will also be witnessed due to this, the weather pattern in the state will change again.

Moderate to heavy fog prevailed in Bhopal, Vidasha, Guna, Gwalior, Ashok nagar, Sagar, Damoh, Katni and Jabalpur;Light to moderate fog was witnessed in Bhind, Morena, Datia, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ujjain, Agar, Ratlam, Shajapur, Sehore, Raisen, Tikamgarh, Chattarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa.

Minimum visibility in the morning at Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior airports.

at 100 meters; 200 meters in Ujjain; And 700 meters was recorded at Khajuraho airport.

Gwalior's night on Monday was the coldest in the state. The mercury was recorded at 12.5 degrees. In Pachmarhi it was 16.4 degrees. The highest minimum temperature of 17.7 degrees was recorded in Narmadapuram.

Among the major cities night temperature recorded  (temperature in degrees Celsius) Bhopal 15.9, Indore 14, Gwalior 12.5, Jabalpur 16 and Ujjain 14.4.

There is a trend of cold nights and hot days in February. This is the trend this time also. Due to the passing of Western Disturbance, the night temperature will drop, while the day temperature will remain high. Similar weather prevailed on Monday also. The mercury remained more than 30 degrees in 15 cities of the state including Bhopal and Jabalpur.
