Chandigarh: Panjab University, Chandigarh has invited applications for the admission in two year MSc level course in stem cell and tissue engineering. To join this premier self financed course at PU, the students can submit the duly filled forms in the office of Centre for stem cell and tissue engineering (CSCTE) at the Pharmacy Extension Block, PU till July 3. The course has 15 seats. Admission will be based on the entrance test. Students, who have passed their B.Sc. Medical Sciences, life Sciences, Basic Medical Science with 50 percent marks, are eligible to apply for this prestigious course, which is considered as one of the cutting edge courses in the field of re-generative medicine. This field has opened new vistas and carrier options for students both in academia and industry.
Admission in diploma in pharmacy course till June 24
Chandigarh: The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training has fixed June 24, 2013 as the last date for submission of Admission Form for two year diploma in pharmacy course in the affiliated institution of the board. An official spokesperson of the Punjab government said on Thursday that details regarding eligibility, intake capacity and location of affiliated institutions, reservation of seats etc. and the application form are available in the prospectus. Prospectus-cum-application forms are available on the board's website. As per PCI guidelines candidates having qualification of 10+2 from National/State open schools are not eligible for admission.
