One of the actresses in Veera, Sneha Wagh, told P Sharma about her favourite ride. Seems she shares cold vibes with her co-actor Kapil Nirmal

After performing the lead in a tv serial, Jyoti, Sneha Wagh took a break for a few years, and returned to prime-time with Ek Veer Ki Ardaas–Veera.

She plays Ratan, mother to Ranvijay, one of the main protagonists, and Veera, his step-sister through his father’s relationship with another woman.

During our recent time-off in Amritsar, with members of the crew, we met Wagh, who looked beautiful in a Patiala suit. She was accompanied by the handsome, suave, actor, Kapil Nirmal, who plays Nihal Singh, (Ratan’s husband’s friend).

Famous through Star Plus’ Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat and Na Aana Iss Des laado, Nirmal was wearing a blue Pathani suit. Sneha apparently put some research into the part, while Kapil accepted it disinterestedly. He said bluntly that, “I did it for money and fame initially. But now I connect with the part.”

Actors and celebrities seem obsessed with cars and bikes. Sneha loves tractors.

She drives one in the series, where she takes care of the family after her husband moves away. In fact, she rode the vehicle in an Amritsar khet. “I previously didn’t know much about tractor driving. But I learnt it quickly and honed my driving skills,” she explained. Sneha has been acting from the age of 17. She learnt classical dances. “My mother made sure I participated in extra-curricular activities. I also won a reality dance show, Dholkichya Talavar. But things did not go well. There was mental stress. So I dislike participating in such shows. Maybe I will change my mind about this later.”

The actress said that Veera has worked for local audiences, with its many themes, like infidelity. She has also enjoyed her time with the kids. “They treat me like a motherly-figure. They respect me and we have fun on the sets, chatting and bantering.”

Kapil did this serial because of Star. He said there were other serials he was supposed to do for Star, but they didn’t air. “I said yes to Veera, without knowing what my character was about.”

He wants to act in films and is preparing for it by doing different roles. “I am a bit insecure person. If I am not working and sitting at home, I get depressive. I want something cheerful happening around all the time, to keep me on track.” As for chemistry with co-actor Sneha, he told us, “We don’t talk.”

And this, when they work for at least fifteen hours a day together. Both said they had some problems when they did speak. later Sneha remarked, “I am serious about my work,” “He is sarcastic,” etc… Ending, “Many actors in the industry who work together do not talk.” Kapil concluded, “It’s the chemistry on-screen that matters. We pull that off well.”
