Thursday, 31 December 2015 | PNS | DALTONGANJ

A JCB machine was torched last night in Palamu’s village Simree Atarya under Bishrampur police station said sources.

The miscreants did not leave behind any note or made any call to the owner of the JCB machine P Pandey.

Sources said Pandey had rented out this JCB machine to Raghubar and Ram Parwesh Pathak who were constructing a Rs5.60 lakh worth 1.9 Km road under PMGSY.

The officer in charge of Bishrampur police station R P Mahto has confirmed this torching of the JCB machine.

He said this was no handiwork of any Naxal group as then there would have come call for levy and here in this case there was none such no call, no demand for levy.

The police officer described this as a mischief of some miscreants who wanted to put to loss Pandey, Raghubar and Pathak.

Police have registered a case. No clue is found so far. The motive too is not clear, said police officer Mahto.
