MlA lays foundation stone for development works

MlA from Rajim, Santosh Upadhyaya laid foundation stone and dedicated many development works costing lakhs of rupees in the 'MlA Model Village' Hardi the other day here. At the outset, the MlA was accorded a warm welcome by the villagers. On the occasion, Upadhyaya announced construction of a new high school building, Anganwadi centre, cement concrete road and other development works.
 
He also arranged midday meal for the schoolchildren. The MlA urged the gathering to take benefit of various schemes run in the State. He said, to provide employment to the youths of the State, Chief Minister Raman Singh has established livelihood Colleges in the State, in which the youths can could study the subject of their interest and get self-employed and the government would finance up to Rs 10-lakh to them. 
 
He said that it was the responsibility of people’s representatives to upgrade the remaining 319 villages of his constituency to the level of model town Hardi.
Upadhyaya said he would try to fulfill the demands of the area with the help of the district administration.
