Petition filed for cancellation of UP CPMT

Thursday, 18 June 2015 | Pioneer News Service | Lucknow

A petition has been filed in lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court by Nirupama and two other candidates for cancelling the UP CPMT Exam held on 25 May 2015.

Petitioners’ counsel Dr Nutan Thakur said that the leakage of paper had become public in the beginning of the test and the STF got an FIR registered at Gautampalli police station arresting 13 persons.

Petition says that in the recent Supreme Court order regarding AIPMT,  the report presented by SP Rohtak made it clear that three accused in that case Vijay Yadav, Nanha and Sujit were also involved in UP CPMT paper leak, a fact not known to STF, which shows the magnitude of paper leakage.

Calling the two cases exactly similar, the petition seeks cancellation of UP CPMT as well just like the Supreme Court cancelled the AIMPT exam.
