jamai raja takes a leap
Jamai Raja is all set to see a leap. The story will pick up two years later from the point where Roshni’s mother DD lost her life and she blamed her husband Sid (Ravi Dubey) for it. After the leap, Roshni (Nia Sharma) will be seen in an all new modern avatar, leaving behind her ethnic finery.
Post the leap, another new character, Dev Sengupta will enter the show, played by Indraneil Sengupta. “My character Dev is a man of few words and does not wear his heart on his sleeves like Sid does but at the same time, the restraint and intensity in his personality sets him apart. Till now, viewers have seen the bitter-sweet love story of Sid-Roshni but Season 2 of the show will explore new relationships and their changing dynamics. I am extremely excited about my role as capturing the subtleties of Dev is pretty challenging,” said Indraneil about the new show.

KAPIl scores on trp
If sources are to be believed, the the The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony that airs on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm has not had much effect in terms of viewership even though it has shifted from one channel to another.
A little birdie tells us that opening day’s TRP stood at 3.2 and though there are a slight dip in the second episode it was 2.8 it garnered more rating than Bajirao Mastani that was aired on Colors.
The show has also entered the top five list in its opening week with 8,943 impressions and has also helped in increase Sony’s viewership. This proves once again that he is the king of comedy, at least on the small screen.
