A joint meeting of the delegation of power committees of Madhya Pradesh and Assam State Assemblies was conducted here on Friday.
MP State Assembly’s Deputy Speaker Rajendra Kumar Singh explained the importance and utility of the power of delegation.
The committees of both the States exchanged information regarding several issues.
Principal Secretary Avdhesh Pratap Singh has given important information regarding the law making and working of the power of delegation committee while the chairman of the power of delegation committee of Assam Assembly, Pradeep Hazarika also shared information about the working of the Assam’s committee. The joint meeting was also addressed by Committee’s member Shailendra Patel.
Principal Secretary Avdhesh Pratap Singh welcomed the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Rajendra Kumar Singh by gifting bouquet.
Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Rajendra Kumar Singh and MP’s committee’s Chairman Jaisingh Maravi welcomed Assam’s committee’s Pradeep Hazarika, Mrinal Sekiya and Numal Momin.
MP Deputy Speaker also gifted the memento and books to the members of the Assam’s committee while the Assam’s committee’s Chairman Pradeep Hazarika gifted the ‘Angavastram’ to the Deputy Speaker Rajendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary Avdhesh Pratap Singh and to the other members of the committee.
Shailendra Patel, Madhosingh Dabur, Bharat Singh Kushwaha and Kalyaan Singh Thakur remained present during the meeting along with the officials of the committees of Assam and Madhya Pradesh.
