Chairman cum Managing Director, Punjab State Power Corporation limited, KD Chaudhri, on Thursday released PSPCl calendar at Head Office.
Recalling past year achievements, Chaudhri said that it has been an excellent year for Corporation as it was adjudged the best power distribution utility by Central Board of Irrigation & Power, New Delhi. In another major Integrated Rating Exercise covering 40 State Power Distribution Utilities in India by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, PSPCl was awarded top rating of A+ based on its Very High Operational and Financial Capability.
The CMD said that it has been proud moment for PSPCl and people of Punjab. He said that the rating exercise carried out by Ministry of Power, Government of India has been an important step towards highlighting the focus areas for improvements in the distribution sector by State Power Utilities.
Mentioning another feather PSPCl’s achieved last year, he recalled the award for “Performance of Thermal Power Stations” to Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant, lehra Mohabat by Union Minister of Power.
He attributed the big achievements to unflinching dedication, and commitment of company’s Engineers and Staff members.
