Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said that the BJP government in Chhattisgarh was committed for welfare and progress of all sections of society.
“The state has recorded major development in urban and rural areas during the past 14-year BJP rule,’’ Agrawal said while dedicating development and welfare projects worth Rs 3.35 crore at village Pachera under Dondilohara block in Balod district.
Rs Rs The road infrastructure has been immensely improved in the state even in forested and far remote areas, poor people have been provided food at highly subsidised rate and poor families have been covered under medical insurance scheme on free of cost,’’ Agrawal told hundreds of local residents at the function.
Agrawal dedicated an anicut built at the cost of Rs 2.42 crore, to people besides several key road projects. He instructed local government officials to address people’s problems on priority basis and ensure that not a single resident should approach Minister for minor civic facilities related problems.
