From Arabic to multi coloured mehendi, the students of Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) showcased their brilliancy in mehndi application.
A mehendi application and rakhi making competition was organised at BSSS on Sunday. As Raksha Bandhan is here, the girls have done grand preparations for the festival of sibling bond. Keeping in view the same, the competitions were organised at the college premises.
The students enthusiastically participated in the competitions and presented their talent on both the disciples. As many as 50 students were a part of the competitions. The faculty members were also present at the college to mark the occasion and other students enjoyed every bit of it.
A different variety of mehendi application was seen at each hand. The participants applied different varieties and beautiful designs during the mehendi competition. The participants applied varieties like Pakistani design, Arabic design, multi coloured mehendi which was beautified with beads and sequins, Marwari mehendi, Rajasthani mehendi and the mehendi designs adorened with the gliters.
Each design was different from another. Each participant was excited and filled with zest during the competition.
later, the event was carried out with rakhi making competition. The girls of BSSS went creative with Do-it-Yourself (DIY) rakhis. The participants prepared beautiful rakhis for their brothers as a token of their love and care.
The participants beautified their DIY rakhis with rudraksha, paper quiling flowers, silk thread, beads and pearls. Besides, they also prepared traditional mauli which was really loved by the judges.
