CUJ pays tribute to Former PM

A condolence programme was organized at Central University of Jharkhand on Friday in order to pay homage to the 93 year old Former Prime Minister cum Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Nand Kumar Yadav Indu spoke on veteran leader's contribution in journalism, politics and literature. He recited few poems written by Vajpayee. Teaching, non-teaching staff, scholars and students offered flowers to the photograph of the ex PM.

First Mark Public School

First Mark Public School Celebrated 72nd Independence Day function with patriotic fervor at school premises on Wednesday. Director Kalpana Soren hoisted the national flag. On the occasion Director said that our student are the young role models and embodied the essence of what The school stands for she exhorted the students to follow the ideals of the great people. A colourful cultural program was also presented by school children.

Taurian World School

Taurian World School commemorated the 72nd Independence Day with enthusiasm on August 15.  The ceremony began with the Principal, Dr. Subhash Kumar, hoisting the Tricolour as a mark of respect to our mother land India and a tribute to our freedom fighters.  Dr. Subhash in his address paid tribute to all the freedom fighters and conveyed a thought provoking message of building a stronger independent India; one that is free from economic imperialism.  He said “let each one of us work to become independent and be a proud Indian and global citizen”.

Wii provide all possible support for CUJ: secy

Higher, Technical Education and Skill Development Department Secretary Rajesh Kumar Sharma on August 14 assured to provide all possible support for the development Central University of Jharkhand. He was speaking as chief guest in the Independence Day eve cultural function organized at the university premises in Brambe. A skit on 'Swaraj' was presented by students on this occasion followed by performances of Giridih based Kedia brothers.

MR camp at APS, Ramgarh

A special Measles Rubella vaccination camp was organized at Army Public School, Ramgarh on August 14, where students were administered vaccines of MR in the presence of Programme incharge lt Col Abhijeet Kumar. Health officers Roopchand Sharma and Sunil Kumar along with Om Prakash Singh and Pooja Kumari, Nursing Officer Major Pratibha Rawat, Major Jayanti, lt Pratibha Shukla and Major Rashmita administered the vaccination to the students. School Principal Vishwajeet Pal, teachers and non-teaching staff played a major role in the success of the camp.

Minister Amar Kumar Bauri

Revenue and land Reforms Minister Amar Kumar Bauri hoisted the tricolour at JAP Ground at Sector 12 at Bokaro Steel City on the eve of 72 Independence Day. Speaking on the occasion minister said, Bokaro is one among ‘Aspiration District’, ranked third in the state while 28 positions across the country for performing excellently in on-going developmental works.

I-day celebrated at garhwa district HQ

72nd Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zest and fervour in Garhwa.The main function was held at Govind Inter College field where Garhwa DC Dr.Neha Arora hoisted the Tricolour.  The DC also felicitated freedom fighter's family members by offering shawl. Besides this Principal District and Sessions Judge, GarhwaSP, Civil Surgeon , Principal of the SSJSN College, principal SPD college,Branch Managers of different bank and others also unfurled the tricolor at their respective offices.

VVPS School celebrate Independence day

With a concept of ‘unity in diversity’ the 72nd Independence Day of the nation was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm at Vidya Vikash Public School Boria. Retired IPS Deo Bihari Sharma hoisted the tri-colour at school premises. On the occasion, patriotic songs and various cultural programmes were presented as part of the celebration. Besides teach Babita Jha, Ragini Verma all school staffs were present on the eve.

Sainik School Tilaiya celebrate I-day

The Independence Day was observed with patriotic fervour at Sainik School Tilaiya. The day commenced with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the ‘Immortal Tilaiyans’ by Principal Gp Capt. S Jacob. In his address, Jacob emphasized upon the cadets to introspect on their dreams and virtues needed to achieve those dreams.

UBI observes independence day

United Bank of India Ranchi observed the 72 Independence Day with great patriotism. Sudhir Kumar Sinha, Chief Regional Manager of the UBI unfurls the flag on 15 August. Beside others, P Panda AGM, Satish Sharma, Anand Kumar, Deepak Kumar Sinha, Satish Chandra, Navin Kumar Singh, Sanjay Srivastava including other were present on the occasion.

DPS Bokaro celebrates I-Day

DPS Bokaro celebrated the 72nd Independence Day with great joy and fervour. The national flag was hoisted by Dr. Hemlata S Mohan, the Director and Principal of the school. Dedicating the day to the teaching fraternity who plays a constructive role in shaping the students to exercise freedom in its true sense, two states of art staff rooms named Dr Radhakrishnan Kaksh and Savitribai Phule Kaksh were added and inaugurated by Dr. Mohan along with other facilities at the school campus.
