430 cases settled at B’pur Lok Adalat

As many as 430 cases were disposed of and Rs 10,29,91, 933 was collected and disbursed to beneficiaries at the 5th and last National Lok Adalat of 2018 held here on Saturday by the Ganjam District Legal Services Authorities (DLSA).

While 132 accidental cases were disposed of and Rs 3,85,17,500 was collected and given to victims. Similarly, a total of Rs 6,11,15,229 was collected from disposal of 162 civil cases. Besides, 98 civil cases were settled. While Rs 33,59,204 was also collected disposing of 66 bank cases at the Adalat.

DLSA Chairman and District Judge Bibhu Prasad Routray, MACT Judge Deepak Kumar, Judges Anand Chandra Behera and Sanjay Kumar Sahu decided the cases. DLSA Secretary Bijaya Kumar Dash and senior lawyer Dr Siva Prasad Mishra coordinated the Adalat.
