BJP performed better than prediction: Tiwari

Thursday, 13 December 2018 | Staff Reporter | NEW DELHI

Reacting to the results of Assembly Elections in five States, Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party chief Manoj Tiwari said the results clearly show that the election surveys proved to be wrong and BJP performed better than the predictions.  Targeting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Tiwari said that the AAP is very much enthusiastic about the results but it should remember that the people of Delhi had elected its 67 Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) in 2015 but in 2017 this party could not win even 67 wards whereas BJP has contested very well in these states even after ruling for 15 years.

“AAP should take a lesson from these elections because all its candidates have forfeited their security deposits and have been rejected by the people. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is working for the expansion of his party in other states other than for the development in Delhi,” Tiwari said.  Tiwari said that Delhi CM has completely failed in fulfilling the promises made to the people of Delhi. “He does not even listen to the problems of the people. People living in Jhuggis are crying for basic amenities bus so far government has not taken any step to resolve the issues of people living in jhuggis,” said Tiwari.

Tiwari said chief said that Delhi BJP wing is working at the booth level to strengthen the Party. “The people of the country have full faith in Prime Minister Narender Modi and the workers will visit at every booth level to appraise the people about the achievements of Modi government,” Tiwari said.
