Bahujan Samaj Party has expelled its party leader and former MlA from lambhua assembly constituency in Sultanpur district Vinod Kumar Singh for indulging in anti-party activities. The BSP sources said the party was getting information from the grassroots leaders of the party in the district about the anti party activities of Vinod Kumar Singh. He was alleged to be hobnobbing with the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. A BSP leader said the decision to expel Vinod Kumar Singh from the party was taken after completing the due process of conducting investigation into the charges against him. He said he was expelled after completion of three layer probe. The BSP district president of Sultanpur Om Prakash Gautam said that those who were not serious about the reputation of the party and have no respect for the party president, workers and ideology will meet the same fate. He said none can grow as a leader in the BSP solely on the basis of the money power. Gautam said that Vinod Kumar Singh was warned many times for his anti-party activities and indiscipline but he ignored. Vinod Kumar Singh son of the former Congress MP KN Singh was minister of tourism in Mayawati government from 2007-12. The BSP district president said the probe into the charges against Vinod Kumar Singh confirmed that he was continuously in touch with the BJP during the recent by-polls to three lok Sabha seats.
