The East Coast Railway has decided to run 18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express on diverted route via Jharsuguda Road and Ib bypassing Jharsuguda from March 12, 2019.
Similarly, the 18508 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express from Amritsar from March 10, 2019 and the 18507 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express from Visakhapatnam from March 11, 2019 WOULD run on diverted route via Jharsuguda Road instead of Jharsuguda, informed an ECoR release.
The 18507 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express will reach at Jharsuguda Road at 1450hrs and will leave at 1455hrs towards Amritsar. In the return direction, 18508 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express will arrive at Jharsuguda Road at 0810hrs and will leave at 0815hrs towards Visakhapatnam. The timings and scheduled stoppages for the train at other places will remain unchanged.
