‘BJP again’ is only option to develop J’khand: Nadda

Ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) stepped up its election campaign for the third and fourth phases of election aiming to retain power in the State.

Addressing to a public rally at Dhanbad, BJP executive president JP Nadda claimed that ‘BJP again’ is the only option to bring development in Jharkhand. The BJP wants to work for the nation and masses, while the Opposition (alliance) promoted cast and creed to divide society, he said.

Branding the Congress-JMM alliance as an alliance formed for the thrust of power, Nadda said, only the BJP, which can take Jharkhand on the path of development. “In the last five years, we have given a stable, corruption-free Government to the State,” he added.

Appealing the masses to vote for the BJP for the inclusive growth and development Nadda said, “Double engine” Government (one is at Centre and another is at Jharkhand) will add multiple additional benefits for the development of the State.

Speaking on the occasion, Nadda credited Raghubar Das Government for providing an additional cylinder under the Ujjwala scheme and said, this is the benefit of  double-engine Government.

Addressing another election rally at Govindpur in Dhanbad, Nadda listed several welfare schemes launched and the achievements of the Union Government, including One Rank One Pension scheme and the banning of triple talaq, as key in the rally. Demand of “One Rank, One Pension” was pending since 1971, when we came to power, we gave OROP to 22 lakh soldiers bought 36 Rafale and distributed 1.81 lakh bullet-proof jackets to our soldiers, he said.

Dhanbad district consists of six legislative assemblies Sindri (38), Nirsa (39), Dhanbad (40), Jharia (41), Tundi (42) and Baghmara (43) will go for the poll in the fourth phase on December 16.
