22-year-old married woman commits suicide

A 22-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Rajhans Colony under Kolar police station area on Saturday. The frequent fights between husband and wife are seen as reasons behind the suicide and would be investigated, said police.

According to police, the deceased, Deepti Tiwari, was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

Police were informed and then, a police team reached the spot and started investigation. After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post-mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.

The deceased was married  two years ago and had a baby.

Her husband works in a hotel while the parents of the deceased live in Mumbai and have been informed regarding the suicide.

The statements of the family members are yet to be recorded which would help in revealing the reason behind the suicide.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at an under-construction house at Lambhakheda under Eithkhedi police station area on Saturday. Police said that the deceased was identified as Bablu Singh .

He was brought dead to Hamidia hospital.

The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

The reason behind the suicide would be investigated as the family members failed to provide reason behind the suicide. The deceased used to work as labour at the same building where he committed suicide.
