Barnwal instructs DCs to resolve pending LAMPS funds matters

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sunil Kumar Barnwal, today instructed all the deputy commissioners to resolve the matters related to LAMPS funds allocation of last year. He gave the instruction while reviewing a complaint related to pending payment of a Ration card verification institution of Dhanbad. Payment is pending for the work done during the period of 2015-17. The Principal Secretary was reviewing complaints in the weekly review program of Jansamvad Kendra at Suchna Bhawan. He reviewed a total of 23 complaints.

Principal Secretary instructed the Mines Officer to investigate the matter, on the complaint of Cemetery being used as coal Dump in Chandwa, Latehar.

Sukhram Munda from Khunti died in militancy violence in February 2012 but his dependent has not been paid compensation so far. A similar matter came from Chatra where Shambhu Yadav died in militancy violence in 8th March 2016 but his dependent has not been paid compensation yet. For the matters, the Principal Secretary instructed to resolve them within a week.

Bidi labour Mangal Mahto from Chakradharpur, West Singhbhum has not been allotted house under Bhimrao Ambedkar Yojna even after approval. On this the Principal Secretary instructed to start the construction of the house and submit the related report by next Tuesday.

As many as 250 families in Chandankiyari, Bokaro are facing drinking water crisis due to dysfunctional motor since September 2018. On this the Principal Secretary instructed to repair the motor within 15 days.

Uday Kumar retired from Jharkhand Police on 31st January 2015 has not been paid outstanding honorarium and retirement benefits. It was informed in the review that for a short period he has also worked in Transport Department and the record of that is not available, due to which it is pending. On the Principal Secretary instructed AIG to DGP Shams Tabrez to investigate the matter and take action against those found guilty.

As many as 281 Drivers working in Community health centre through outsourcing from Rider Security Service in Lohadaga has not been paid honorarium since September 2018. On this the Principal Secretary instructed to ensure payment within 15 days.

Budhu Swansi retired from the post of clerk in 2017 in Jamshedpur and Peon Kamli Mahto retired from Project Building, Ranchi in 2016 has not been given pension and other retirement benefit. On this the Principal Secretary instructed to start pension and other benefits within a week.

Crop of Dhananjay Giri was destroyed due to draught in the year 2017-18 in East Singhbhum but he has not been paid sum insured for the crop.

During review it came to the notice that due to the negligence of Bank manager, the matter is pending.

On this the Principal Secretary instructed to take action against the guilty manager and ensure payment to the sufferer.
