CM fiat to complete flyover works in time

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today asked officials to expedite works for construction of flyovers in the Capital City. While holding a review meeting on progress of works of Kantatoli and Harmu Road flyovers, here on Friday the CM asked officials to start work immediately wherever there are no problems and at the same time it should be kept in mind that the common man doesn’t face any problem during construction.

The CM said that during the construction of flyovers the safety measures should be kept in mind.

He said that for curbing traffic snarls in the city flyovers must be constructed as soon as possible. He also asked officials to make quality diversion roads so that people do not face any problem during the construction work.

It is the aim of the State government to make the flyovers and people get relieved from traffic issues in the city, he added.

Das said that the present government has shown interest in infrastructure projects. After formation of government Urban Development department has set up coordination with different agencies and started work of Kanta Toli and Harmu Road flyovers after making Detailed Project Report. Soon, other flyovers will also be started by the State government, said the CM.  

During the meeting the CM asked officials to put coordinated efforts for time bound solution of public issues. He asked officials to visit spots and find out ways to solve issues. Despite delaying the work, he asked officials to find solutions ensure that the common people do not face any problems. The State government will solve all the problems at the government level.

Urban Development Minister CP Singh, Principal Secretary to CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Urban Development Secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh, Road Construction Secretary KK Soan, DC Ranchi RM Ray, officials of JUIDCO and NHAI alongwith contractors were present on the occasion.
