The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress MLAs who entered the BJP camp today praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Raghubar Das for their nationalist and developmental vision. The leaders few days back left no stone unturned in attacking the Centre and State Government ideas of development today claimed that there is no issue bigger than nationalism.

Two times Congress MLA from Lohardaga and State Congress former president Sukhdeo Bhagat after joining BJP camp not only raised the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram, said that in present context nationalism and development is main issue. Bhagat said, “For me Congress is a past. Working in grand old party was pleasant experience, but I believe in present.” He said that he will act as sugar making the party even sweeter. Another Congress MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav, who had represented Barhi Assembly seat for four times said, “I decided to join the BJP as I am influenced with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’ nationalism and developmental agendas.” Yadav, one of the senior Congress leaders, was also a minister in undivided Bihar and was considered as top contender for State Congress president post. Both Bhagat and Yadav had contested last Lok Sabha election on Congress ticket from Lohardaga and Chatra respectively and were upset with Congress leaders as they believed the senior leaders had spoiled their prospect in Lok Sabha elections. Bhawnathpur MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi who too joined BJP and announced the merger of his party Naujawan Sangharsh Morcha with BJP. Shahi said, “There is no bigger issue than nationalism in Country. The nation is in safe hands and Modi jee by abrogating Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir had created history.”Shahi who had represented Bhawanathpur Assembly thrice and was also Health Minister during Madhu Koda Government said, “The constituency which I represent has chosen BJP, but this time history will change as people of Bhawanathpur will elect BJP candidate with record margin.”First timer JMM MLA from Baharagora Kunal Sarangi said, “For me it is like home coming as BJP gave identity to my father and family.”  Sarangi said, “I am obliged to JMM executive president Hemant Soren for reposing faith on me and due to his help and support I became MLA from Bahargora for first time, but today the politics has change as there is no bigger issue than nationalism in Country.”

 Rebel JMM legislator from Mandu Jai Prakash Bhai Patel who too joined the BJP said that with joining of JMM and Congress senior leaders from Barhi-the entry point of State to Baharagora the exit point of State has been painted in Saffron.

Patel, son of JMM stalwart leader late Teklal Mahto, said, “With the joining of senior leaders from Congress and JMM, the BJP will easily attain the target of mission 65 plus.”
