Good performance: Muqabla 2019 held

The students gave tough fights to each other while exhibiting a wonderful performance in sports competitions. The grand finale of ‘Muqabla 2019’ was held here on Wednesday at Patel Group of Institutions.

It is to be noted that various colleges from across the State participated in the annual sports meet. They played games like Cricket Volleyball Basketball, Football, Kho-Kho Kabadi,  Athletics and Slow Bike Race under outdoor games category. While under indoor category they played games like badminton, chess, carom, table tennis and pool.

The teams reached the final through the semi-finals of the quarter-finals, and the best team won the winning team in the initial match, the winning team kept up to the end. The guests also encouraged players' enthusiasm and also said about the positive changes in play in practical life. The first day of the match was quite bumpy. But later giving tough fight to each other the team gave their best performance.

The final match was played between the Patel Group of Institutions and SISTech of cricket. In the final match, Patel Group of Institutions scored 64 runs in ten overs, Jai scored the most runs for them. SISTech's Akash took 2 wickets for 12 runs in reply, Sistek won this thrilling match with seven balls remaining. Akteesh scored the highest score of 23 for SITEC, while Atif took 2 wickets for 10 runs from Patel Group.

Award distribution was done by Dinesh Patel Executive Director Patel Group of Institutions NK Tiwari, Vice Chancellor Madhyanchal Professional University, Shailesh Jain Registrar, Vikrant Jain was present as the special guest of DSW.

The winner was awarded the trophy and won cash prize of Rs15000 and the runner-up Patel Group of Institutions won Rs10000 and trophy.

In this match, SISTech captain Akash was the man of the match, Man of the series was Bhavesh Singh and Roshan got the title of Best Bestman, while Aath of Patel Group of Institutions got the best bowler and Arun Yadav got the title of best fielder.
