Haryana ITI students to get equivalence of classes 10th and ten plus two

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani has given the equivalence of classes 10th and ten plus two to all the students who are studying in ITIs of Haryana. This decision will provide more opportunities of jobs and higher education to all ITI students.

A spokesman of the Board on Saturday said that to obtain equivalence of Classes 10th and ten plus two, all the students who have received training from ITIs in the past, have to apply for the exam of English or Hindi language through BSEH portal.

He said that after completing the two-year course of ITI, the student will have to appear in one exam of either Hindi or English language of class ten plus two level of BSEH to achieve equivalence of ten plus two level. This equivalent will be available to students after completing one year ITI Course of the class 10th level or after completing second year of apprenticeship.

After completing two-year course of ITI of class 8th level, the students will have to appear in exam of both Hindi or English languages of class 10th level of BSEH to achieve equivalence of class 10th level. This equivalence will be available to students after completing one year ITI course of 8th class level and second year of apprenticeship, he added.
