n With an objective of providing better health care facilities in the far flung areas of the state, the Shri Guru Ram Rai (SGRR) University entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Himalayan Garhwal University (HGU) on Friday. The document was signed by the VC of the SGRR University, Pitambar Prasad Dhyani and Nanad Kishore Sinha on behalf of Himalayan Garhwal University. A communiqué from the SGRR University claims that both the universities will be organizing free health camps at the remote and very remote areas in the mountainous areas with the help of the Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
The VC of the SGRR University informed that prior to this SGRR University had signed MoUs with many national and international institutions.
He added that the MoU of Saturday is 10th such MoU of the university. The SGRR University had also signed an important MoU with Himalayan Universities Consortium on an international level. Himalayan Universities consortium is an association of 62 renowned universities of the world. After the MOU, SGRR University has got associated with 62 renowned universities.
