Wednesday, 24 June 2020 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Odisha unit on Monday staged a protest against the attack of China on Indian soldiers.

“As many as 20 Indian jawans were martyred and 10 others were imprisoned by China. People of the country have the right to know about this from the Government. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t invite the AAP to the all-party meeting recently,” lamented AAP State covnenor Nishikant Mohapatra.

Mohapata demanded that family of each martyred jawan be paid ex-gratia of Rs 1 crore soon. He said the AAP would provide all support to the Union Government in whatever action it would take against China.

Among others, general secretary Soumyaranjan Swain and treasurer Santhosh Kumar Panda were present.
