Kendriya Vidyalaya has started in a makeshift manner at Sad Guru Ucch Vidyalay under Chainpur police station. Principal of the Kendriya Vidyalay Nishant Choubey said there was a great rush for admission in this school.
Choubey said 530 applications were filed for the admission. He said only primary wing beginning class 1 to 5 has taken off. Class 6 will be added in the coming year he said.
Each of the class from 1 to 5 has intake capacity of 40 students. Choubey said it was a tough task to eliminate 330 applications for the admissions.
He said reservation roster has been fully complied with in the matter of the admissions. As schools remain closed study links are made available to our students from Giridh and Garhwa districts.

Choubey said the present premise and building from where our school is running has many teething problems.

Choubey said it is a minimum two years wait for this school to get into its own premise and building.
