RSS gives food to AIIMS patients for a month

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) has been providing both dry and cooked foods to patients at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here for the last one month as hotels and restaurants have remained closed due to Covid lockdown.

The RSS, BMC has been providing foods every day through the Utkal Bipanna Sayatata Samiti. While over 375 persons are being served cooked food every day, over 10,012 plates have already been distributed. Besides, dry foods are being distributed to 22 families and, till today, over 600 persons have benefitted.

Swayamsevaks have also distributed a total of 3,095 masks to health workers at AIIMS and Sanjibani Hospital and Bharatpur electric employees. They have also distributed 2,427 sanitisers, besides sanitizing 10 temples, four schools, two club houses, one college, one Anganwadi Centre, one police station and one Post Office.  About 15 Swayamsevaks are engaged in the distribution work every day. Over 300 Swayamsevaks have already been involved in the work, informed an official release.
