Sensation prevailed at Dobra village under Ratibad police station area, after a seven-year-old boy was died under suspicious circumstances in the evening; no visible injury marks were found on body , said police.
According to the police, the body was spotted by a local who informed the family and later the parents took him to house and took help of witch doctor but failed to save him. After receiving information a team reached the spot and started investigation.
Police said that in the initial investigation nothing which could help in establishing the reason of the death was found, the boy was identified as Abhisek Marawi.
The circumstantial evidences suggest that the deceased died of injuries but to ascertain reason of death is not possible. The possibility of deceased could be accidental. The post mortem report is awaited which would help in revealing the reason.
The deceased was seven years old, his father works at a stone crusher in Ratibad area.
During the investigation it was found that parents of the deceased used to work at Yadav stone crusher and he would accompany them at work but would leave around half an hour before their work gets over and on Thursday as usual he left stone crusher and after sometime his parents were informed that Abhisek is lying on road to their house.
The parents rushed to spot and took him to house where they tried to treat him with witch craft but by 10 in the night he died.
