Addressing a press meet IRCTC Head, East Zone, Manish Kumar, said that with this train, people will be able to visit pilgrimage like Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Golden Temple, Mathura, Vrindavan, and Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya from the State. This train will run from Jharsuguda via Rourkela, Ranchi, Bokaro, Koderma, Dhanbad, Parasnath and Gaya, he added. “The passengers from the State can board this train from Ranchi, Bokaro, Koderma Dhanbad Parasnath. For this, passengers can book tickets online. Also, tickets can also be taken from the IRCTC agent. IRCTC has fixed a package fare of Rs 9450 per passenger for this pilgrimage tour. The journey through this train will be a total of nine days and ten nights. The fare also includes the fare of hotel taxis, food and others. The passengers will be taken in sleeper class modern coaches, this will make their journey even more enjoyable," said Kumar.
Speaking about the facilities which are provided by IRCTC to the passengers, Kumar said that everyday vegetarian food will be given. "It also includes lunch, dinner and breakfast. Arrangements will also be made to stay in Dharamshala. There will be non-AC buses to roam the pilgrimage sites. Travel insurance of the passenger will also be made under this package," he added.
Providing ticket booking information IRCTC East Zone head said that the passengers can contact the IRCTC office in Ranchi, Rourkela, and Jharsuguda on 90020 40108 or 9771440059 to book tickets. The passengers from Dhanbad and Koderma can contact 97714 40010 or 900204000 for booking their tickets for the pilgrimage tour, he added.
