RTU only private varsity in MP to hold place in NIRF best universities ranking

Rabindranath Tagore University  made the place among country's best universities.

The Indian Ranking 2021 of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, was announced. Rabindranath Tagore University is the only university among the private universities of Madhya Pradesh which has made its place among the best universities of the country.

 The University has made its place in all the three categories including Overall Ranking, University Ranking and Engineering Ranking. Ranked in the 150-200 rank band in the overall ranking, 101-150 in the university ranking.

In engineering ranking, got 186th rank in 150-200 rank band. The university is the only private university in Madhya Pradesh which has been ranked in NIRF ranking for the third consecutive year. It is worth mentioning that for the last six years, the ranking of top educational institutions of the country is being given every year through NIRF.

The ranking is determined on the basis of various parameters. This includes Teaching and Learning Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception.

Congratulating the Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University on the ranking of NIRF, Shri Santosh Choubey said that it is a matter of pride that the University has been included in the selected top institutes of the country.

This is also a big achievement for the state. University's Pro Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Expressing happiness, Bramhprakash Pethia said that the key to success is to keep doing positive work.

Vijay Singh, Registrar, Rabindranath Tagore University informed that the university has got good marks in all the parameters of NIRF. This year we have secured rank in the 101-150 rank band in the university rankings. Now we aim to make the university a place in the top 100 institutes of the country in the coming years.

Nitin Vats, Director, IQAC said that all the students, teachers and the entire team deserve to be congratulated for this success. The University has emerged as a center of excellence in the field of higher education.
