Test flight lands in Bilaspur, Delhi flights to start from Mar 1

A test flight of Air Alliance landed on Thursday at the Chakarbhata Airport in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur city, from where flights to and from Delhi will commence on March 1.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel described the arrival of the test flight as a matter of joy.

He added that the Bilaspur airport will now be known as Bilasa Devi Kevatin Airport. Baghel has

urged the Centre to connect Bilaspur by air to Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Two flights of ATR 72 aircraft will operate from Bilaspur to Delhi on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The first flight will leave Delhi and reach Bilaspur at 3.20 pm via Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and return to Delhi from Bilaspur at 3.45 pm via Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.

The second flight will arrive from New Delhi at Bilaspur at 4 pm via

 Prayagraj and return from Bilaspur to Delhi at 4.30 pm via Jabalpur.

Air Alliance is a subsidiary of Air India.
