Making a difference with magic of words

With her books, quotes and poems, Anamika Mishra aims to add positivity, hope and inspiration in people’s life

Pandemic has hit the world hard. People have become more empathetic and kinder than ever. But for Anamika Mishra, it has been a life-transformation phase.

Mishra started writing articles, stories and poems at a very early age when she was in school. She is not just an author but also a travel blogger, motivational speaker and an entrepreneur. She is a creative mentor and brand consultant for many authors and start-ups.

“I am grateful to my parents. They never stopped me from doing anything in my life. They always believed in me and supported me for my dreams. May it be for career or marriage, I think all parents should support their daughters in their decisions,” says Mishra.

She has published five books so far out of which two are exclusively available on amazon. “Dreamcatcher is my latest book. I published it with amazon because of the pandemic and its effect on the books industry. My publishers wanted me to wait till the market started to rise again but I didn’t want to! So, I published it on amazon and I am very happy with the response,”  she says about her latest book.

Recently, many of Mishra’s quotes went viral on social media. “Yes! I think when I write from my heart, it touches the hearts of the readers too. I aim to heal broken hearts with my words. Broken hearts don’t mean only about love relationships but also for the ones who lost their parents, lost their jobs and are going through hardships in life,” she says adding that she has been through such a phase when she lost her parents within a span of two years.

“I know how difficult it is to cope up. I can’t say I have healed completely, it never happens. But, I have learned to live with this truth. And this is the need of the hour, for everyone in this world—to accept the truth and live life normally. If my words—written or spoken, make a difference, even a little bit, I will feel I have accomplished something in life,” Mishra says.

She is also one of the social media influencers with approximately half a million followers on her social media.

“The world needs more love, peace and empathy. People don’t value what they have and by the time they realise its value, it’s gone. It breaks my heart to see so much sadness and hatred in the world. With my books, quotes and poems, I aim to add positivity, hope and inspiration in people’s life,” Mishra concludes.
