A dalit girl was sexually assaulted and aborted thrice by a Muslim accused who introduced himself as Pandit (Brahmin) and extorted money several times from the victim; a complaint was lodged with the AJK police.
The accused identified as Shaan Pandit alias Faizal Syed Abbas had made friends with the victim by introducing himself as a Pandit (Brahmin).
After this, took her to the hotel and raped her. The accused also made videos, exploited for three years by threatening to upload videos on social media. Abortion was also done 3 times.
According to the victim, the accused also pressurized her to change her religion. He used to take her for a walk wearing a burqa and when the accused raped for the first time, he was 16 years old. The accused had also got a fake Aadhaar made in the name of Shaan.
However, the AJK police station has not registered a case under the Freedom of Religion Act.
In this case, it has been registered under the sections of rape, threats, SC-ST Act and assault. Police have arrested the accused.
The accused revealed that he was not a Hindu and his name was not Shan Pandit, real name was Faizal Syed Abbas. He threatened that if she would reveal anything then he would show this video to her family members and upload it on social media.
Accused Faizal Syed Abbas had also got a fake Aadhaar made in the name of Shaan Pandit. Meanwhile,she became pregnant and abortion was done by Dr M Srivastava. After that, abortion was done twice by giving medicines himself.
The victim told that the parents and brother of Faizal Syed Abbas were also aware of the abortion. Faizal's father threatened the victim's mother to forget what happened as raising the matter would defame the family.
